Police at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi arrested a Nigerian man with Sh2 million worth of cocaine hidden in his luggage on Friday.
Standard Media reports that the man, who was travelling from Brazil to Ethiopia, was about to take a connecting flight to Lagos when a tin with 38 pellets containing white powder were found in his bags.
According to the report, the man will remain under police supervision.
“He is under observation to emit the pellets he has in his body. We will then know what to do with him and will go to court may be Monday,” Joseph Ngisa, the Head of Airport CID told Standard Media.
